How does calendar synchronization with Airbnb and Booking.com work?

You paste your iCal URL from Airbnb or Booking.com into your property's Integrations settings. Homyva then fetches that calendar on a regular schedule and imports any new bookings, keeping your availability up to date automatically.

How often does Homyva sync my calendars?

Homyva automatically syncs your calendars every 15 minutes in the background. You can also trigger a manual sync at any time from the Integrations tab on your property's settings page — useful right before a check-in or after making changes on Airbnb.

Can I export my Homyva calendar to Airbnb or Booking.com?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every property has a unique iCal export URL in the Integrations tab. You can paste this URL into Airbnb or Booking.com as an 'imported calendar' so that those platforms automatically block the dates of bookings you manage directly in Homyva.

Will calendar sync prevent double bookings?

Accepted Answer

Calendar sync significantly reduces the risk of double bookings by keeping your availability current across platforms. Additionally, Homyva actively checks for overlapping dates whenever a booking is created or updated, and will block any booking that conflicts with an existing one.

Can I sync both Airbnb and Booking.com at the same time for the same property?

Yes. Each property can have two iCal URLs imported simultaneously — one for Airbnb and one for Booking.com. Homyva syncs both in parallel every 15 minutes and consolidates all bookings into a single unified calendar. You can also export your Homyva calendar to both platforms for two-way availability blocking.

What happens when a booking is cancelled on Airbnb or Booking.com?

On the next sync cycle (within 15 minutes), Homyva detects that the booking has disappeared from the calendar and automatically frees up those dates. If a cleaning task had already been created for that booking, you will need to manage it manually in the Tasks tab.

How does Homyva automatically create cleaning tasks?

When a booking is confirmed — whether added manually or imported via iCal — Homyva automatically creates a cleaning task scheduled for the checkout date of that booking. If you have an active cleaner on your team associated with that property, the task is also automatically assigned to them.

How does the WhatsApp notification for cleaners work?

Accepted Answer

Homyva generates a pre-filled WhatsApp message containing the task details and a secure completion link. When you tap 'Send via WhatsApp' on a task, WhatsApp Web (or the mobile app) opens with the message already composed. You simply review it and tap Send. No WhatsApp Business API account or subscription is required.

How does a cleaner mark a task as completed?

The WhatsApp message sent to your cleaner includes a secure link unique to that task. When the cleaner clicks the link in their browser, Homyva automatically marks the task as completed — no login, no app, and no account needed on the cleaner's side.

Is the task completion link secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each task link contains a randomly generated, unique token (a UUID) that cannot be guessed. The link is specific to one task only: clicking it marks that single task as completed, and nothing else. It does not grant access to your account, your property data, or any other information.

Can I assign specific properties to certain team members?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When adding or editing a team member, you can select which properties they are associated with. Automatic cleaning task assignment then only applies to active team members linked to the property of the relevant booking.

Can I create task types other than cleaning?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In addition to cleaning tasks created automatically, you can manually create tasks of any type: check-in prep, checkout, maintenance, restocking, or a custom task. Each task can be assigned to a team member, scheduled with a date and time, and notified via WhatsApp.

What currencies does Homyva support?

All prices are stored internally in Moroccan Dirham (MAD). Your dashboard can display prices in MAD, EUR, USD, GBP, or AED — you can set your preferred display currency in your account settings. Conversion rates are applied automatically for display purposes.

Homyva is available in French, English, and Arabic. The Arabic interface includes full right-to-left (RTL) layout support. You can switch language at any time from the language menu in the top navigation bar.

You can request account deletion at any time by emailing tln.najmeddine@gmail.com. We will permanently delete your account and all associated data (properties, bookings, tasks, and team members) within 30 days of your request.

No. Homyva never requires your Airbnb or Booking.com credentials. Synchronization works exclusively through public iCal URLs that you generate yourself from those platforms — a standard calendar link with no access to your account, earnings, or personal data.
